A new broadcast should not mean starting the community conversation from nothing. Stream chat work is focused on keeping a continuing room available and attaching it to the next stream during preparation.
Timestamps and stream references help distinguish when a message was posted and which broadcast was being discussed. A deliberately chosen chat attachment should remain a deliberate choice.
This is a development update. Stream attachment and any outside-platform chat connections still depend on their individual setup and testing; this post is not a claim that every external chat is connected.
